Style with Fifty Shades Darker

The style behind Fifty shades darker echoes luxury and exclusivity using quality timeless materials and furnishings. In the new movie release Christian Grey’s apartment is refurbished to create a warmer colour palette, a bold statement from the monochromatic scheme of Fifty shades of grey . The new apartment represents a simplistic elegance combined with passion and mystery.

The use of gold as a status of wealth and power, teamed with a  dark Empradore Chiaro  marble flooring in the entry creates a sense of permanency and power.

To recreate this look in your own interior  use elements of gold through accessories, lamps, and frames with splashes of Bianco Carrara marble with side and coffee tables. The crisp whiteness of marble works harmoniously with the bold reflection of gold and brown.

Incorporate cabinet work using rich cherry wood veneer in fixtures and furniture items to create an air of opulence.  Stylish comfort is offered through a sleek grey lounge with oversized cushions to remove austerity.

Throughout the apartment Christian Grey has an extensive art collection of sensual female statues and abstract art work. To replicate this look select art work with a soft colour tone with highlights of gold and grey with a splash of olive to balance the intensity of the overall mood.

We have created a digital Mood board to capture the essence of Christian Grey’s apartment using materials and products to reflect the style and sophistication in a toned down version for everyday living enticing the element of  drama and emotion as depicted in  “Fifty Shades Darker”.
